Seems like Javed Jaaferi twitted a few days back stating Salman Khan has donated Rs. 12 crores to the Kerala fund relief fund but it was noticed that the actor had deleted that tweet and later twitted again stating that he just heard that Salman has donated Rs. 12 crores.
God’s own country has suffered a massive loss in the past few days. The melancholy took away many lives, washed away many houses and affected so many livelihoods. People from across the world has shown their sympathy towards Kerala by donating money, clean water, clothes, food, and many other things. Even Bollywood stars came to the rescue. Actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, SRK, Kangana Ranaut, Anushka, Alia and Sushant Singh Rajput has also left no stone unturned to help the needy. The calamity of severe nature has brought together the entire nation to help God’s own country.
Salman Khan was busy with the shooting for his upcoming movie Bharat when this catastrophe stroke. On 21st August, Salman Khan tweeted about this and wrote “Still deeply saddened by the calamity that has hit Kerala, my heart goes out to all who have suffered a loss and very happy to hear all the souls who have gone back to help out the victims.”
Soon after this another tweet gained a lot of media and public attention which was tweeted by Jaaved Jaafri where he states “Heard @BeingSalmanKhan donated Rs 12cr for Kerala. this man is something else. Kitnon ki duaein leke chal rahi hain isey. God Bless you bro. Love and #Respect.”
But after a few days that tweet was deleted, and he tweeted a new statement tha Respect t he has only heard that Salman Khan has donated Rs. 12 crores. He tweets “ I had tweeted that I had ‘heard’ about @BeingSalmanKhan‘s contribution. Because it was a very strong possibility given his track record, I put forward my thoughts and admiration. Taking the tweet off till I can confirm it.”
So, no valid statement has been made whether Salman Khan has actually donated Rs. 12 crore or not and to be honest we are as much confused as Jaaved. We all know about Salman Khan’s generosity. And only time will tell the authenticity of this tweet.
